If you want to give something this season, the Light the World are back. A ribbon-cutting and tree-lighting ceremony launches this year's run at 6 p.m. Fri., Nov. 13, at ICCU headquarters, 4400 Central Way. Mayors from 13 surrounding communities will sign a joint proclamation, and the Lava Flow Fire Dancers perform at 6:45 p.m.

The machines are customized vending kiosks where you buy gifts on behalf of nonprofits. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints covers operating costs, so charities get 100 percent of every donation. One of them, the School District 25 Education Foundation, has five item cards, and director Courtney Fisher says 45 percent of the district's families qualify for free and reduced lunch.

  • Kickoff extras: free hot chocolate and cookies
  • New this year: an evening start and a parade of charities
  • Santa: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on most days
  • Next stops after Nov. 29: Rexburg, then Idaho Falls

Looks like a lot of the top DOJ, investigating the “Grand Conspiracy”, along with the last 2 years of total anarchy.

“Are resigning, on mass! Do they truly believe if they leave now, they won’t be charged, later? I can’t understand how anyone, can get that wrapped up, in delusions. They don’t see the illegality of the shat they’re doing. Or the charges that will INEVITABLY, be brought against them! Unless they all have plans to leave…”
