- ➤ Idaho drivers see lower gas prices in time for holiday travel, with AAA reporting a price of $2.89 a gallon — ten cents cheaper than last week. Travelers are advised that December 24 may offer less congested roads as the national average stands at $2.85 per gallon. KPVI
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Eastern Idaho is set to experience its warmest December in 85 years as Pocatello is forecast to hit a high of 58 degrees on Christmas Day with almost no snow, according to the National Weather Service. East Idaho News

- ➤ City Sanitation Services announced Dec.25 and Jan.1 office closures that shift trash collections one day; autocarts should be set out by 7 a.m. on the day after regular service. - ➤ Rockland junior Zach Permann shined for the Bulldogs last season as he rushed for 1,390 yards, caught 1,043 yards, and scored 31 touchdowns while earning East Idaho Sports 8-man Player of the Year and All-State honors (including both first-team running back and second-team linebacker).
