- ➤ Portneuf Health Trust will launch its Legacy Partner Program to match donations up to $1 million for maintaining 18 miles of greenway trails in Pocatello and Chubbuck. CEO Shawn Menchaca said the plan aims to boost safe walking, biking, and daily transportation (details are forthcoming). East Idaho News
- ➤ Valley Mission partners with Housing Alliance and Community Partnerships to open a new warming shelter at 805 North Main Street, replacing the closed Refuge Warming Center and offering a safe haven when temperatures fall to 25 degrees or lower. The nonprofit seeks more volunteers and holds training today at 6:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church — help is still needed. East Idaho News
