Two winter markets are open today for last-minute shoppers in Pocatello; the Museum of Clean's Portneuf Valley Winter Market offers food trucks, live music, and local vendors (including Santa and the Grinch), while Station Square hosts 25 vendors with crafted holiday gifts.

Pocatello hockey players secured land near the Regional Airport to build a new roller rink after their previous facility closed two years ago, and the Idaho Inline Hockey Association will hold a silent auction at the Elks Lodge late January to boost funds.

At Idaho State University's Winter Commencement Saturday, over 1,000 graduates were honored in Pocatello as student speaker Tamisha Green recognized custodians and professors who supported her journey.

The ceremony celebrated important academic milestones for the graduates.
