- ➤ Local grassroots group Pocatello Pirates will host a free Christmas potluck this holiday season to provide meals for the homeless and those struggling to put food on the table. The event aims to bring community support and nourishment to anyone in need. Idaho State Journal
- ➤ Valley Mission has partnered with the Housing Alliance and Community Partnership to open a warming shelter at 805 North Main. The shelter operates from 7pm-7am when temperatures fall to 25 degrees or less and offers 42 beds, hot beverages, and snacks for adults. KPVI

- ➤ Idaho Fish + Game offers gift certificates for buying 2026 hunting and fishing licenses, including Super Hunt entries, as a holiday gift option. Buyers can redeem the certificates at local Fish + Game offices to support wildlife access programs. Pocatello-Chubbuck Observer
