- ➤ Local organizers are recruiting volunteers for the 2026 Simplot Games, set for the third Saturday in February after President’s Day. Volunteers must complete an online registration form & join the community celebration. Pocatello-Chubbuck Observer
- ➤ The Pocatello Animal Shelter launched its annual holiday pet food drive today at donation bins in Pocatello and Chubbuck. Pet food donations will fill the Kibble Cupboard to help pet parents during the shelter's regular hours. Local News 8
- ➤ Idaho Power provided holiday decorating safety tips for local residents to use LED lights, check and replace damaged cords, and secure outdoor lights with ground-fault circuit interrupter (GCFI) outlets.
