EDUCATION NEWS

  • Apprenticeship-Plus Night will be held on Thursday, November 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Pocatello High School Commons. More than 20 local employers will explain apprenticeships and other work training options, and attendees will enjoy snacks (provided by Highland High School’s FCCLA Club) while learning about hands-on careers.  Pocatello-Chubbuck Observer

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Jordan Johnson, a Pocatello police officer and Iraq war veteran, recalled that he was 17 when an elderly woman at an airport said thank you for his service—an encounter that sparked his lifelong dedication.
