- ➤ Stand Up for Idaho announced that Benjamin Gisin will speak on Federal Reserve and banking myths at Snake River Event Center in Idaho Falls on Wednesday, November 12th. - ➤ The City of Pocatello Sanitation Department is operating its trucks normally on Veterans Day—today—with residents scheduled for Tuesday pickups to place their autocarts by 7 a.m. The Bannock County Landfill will remain closed to the public on this day. Pocatello-Chubbuck Observer
- ➤ Pocatello Regional Airport is collecting donations to help TSA employees working without pay during the government shutdown. Airport Management Assistant Kristy Heinz said the donation table at the terminal accepts perishable and nonperishable food items — hygiene items, grocery and gas cards — to support federal workers facing financial hardship.
