- ➤ Local businesswoman Lauren Egbert opened Moonchild Maternity Exchange on Yellowstone Avenue in Pocatello in a space that used to be a bridal shop. The shop helps local families with donation and exchange programs and will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Nov. 4 at 5:15 p.m.—providing more choices for moms and babies. East Idaho News

- ➤ Deleta Skating and Family Fun Center is launching its second year of Escape the Madhouse—a haunted attraction featuring 13 escape rooms at 520 Yellowstone Ave that opens today at 7:15 p.m. Groups will solve puzzles to find cure vials amid a mysterious virus theme, and the event runs until blackout night on November 1. East Idaho News

- ➤ Chubbuck voters will decide on Nov. 4 who should serve on City Council Seat 4 as incumbent Norman Reece is challenged by Mandy Peace—Reece has served since Feb. 2022 while Peace focuses on fiscal responsibility and safe growth to manage the city's rapid development. East Idaho News
- ➤ Gate City Coffee in Historic Downtown Pocatello will host a town hall for office candidates from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.—co-owner Bill Kelvie said the event will give voters a chance to hear candidates share their plans and see a different side than their online image. KPVI
