  • Area residents in Pocatello are invited to enjoy beer, bratwurst and stylish lederhosen as the second annual Oktoberfest takes place at Lookout Point on Saturday—this event marks a festive start to autumn for locals.  Idaho State Journal
  • The local Whimsy Market will be held at the Red Lion Hotel on Sunday, September 28 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.—it will feature unique vendors, drinks, local art, treats, Halloween accessories and a haunted forest selfie station for visitors to dress up.  KPVI

  • MOATiT held a grand opening at its new headquarters in Pocatello—located in the former Boy Scouts office—as CEO Ali Khan reflected on the company's 12-year history and discussed future plans.  Post Register

  • Governor Brad Little signed an executive order on September 25 at the Idaho National Laboratory to create the Idaho Advanced Nuclear Energy Task Force—charged with advising on nuclear energy policy and supporting innovation and workforce training in the state.  Pocatello-Chubbuck Observer
  • Bannock County Commissioners approved a $91,000 one-time payment to support seven local nonprofits using unspent 2025 funds — the decision will benefit community programs across the area.  Idaho State Journal
