- ➤ Boutique owner Lindsay Heyneman launched a back-to-school positivity campaign that places cheerful yard signs with messages like 'You Are So Loved' in yards throughout Pocatello and Chubbuck. The free signs are available at Lettie Boutique at 443 E. Chubbuck Road from Monday through Saturday 11 a.m. — 6 p.m. East Idaho News
- ➤ Xena is an eight-month-old Pitbull mix looking for her furr-ever home—call Pocatello Animal Services at 208-234-6156 to schedule a meeting. KPVI
- ➤ A local boys and girls club is hosting its 3rd annual Great Futures gala today at the ICCU Alumni Center in Pocatello starting at 5:30 p.m. The event features live and silent auctions, games, and food from Chartwells — funds raised will support scholarships for club members who need assistance. - ➤ Pocatello nonprofit LIFE received a $7,500 Community Grant from WaFd Bank Foundation to fund classes that teach cooking, budgeting and self-advocacy skills for people with disabilities—many participants gained confidence and even led a cooking class and grocery trip. - ➤ Leonard Hall at Idaho State University has reopened after nearly three years of remodeling that updated labs and study spaces for the College of Pharmacy; the $20.2 million project was backed by a $14 million donation from the ALSAM Foundation—bridging its historic past with a modern future. - ➤ City construction crews in Pocatello are building a nearly one mile long trail along Interstate 15 between Pocatello Creek Road and Monte Vista Drive with plans to finish before year-end.
