  • The friends of Marshall Public Library in Pocatello are holding their final book sale this weekend in the library’s community room and lobby—Friday the sale runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with hardcovers at $2 and softcovers at $1 to fund library improvements.  KPVI

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Over the weekend at the Portneuf Valley Farmers Market, 21 electric vehicles were on display and Mayor Brian Blad proclaimed Drive Electric Month from September 12 through October 12—urging citizens to learn about electric cars' benefits for saving money and the environment.  KPVI

HEALTH NEWS

  • Portneuf Health invites the community to join its 26th annual Brake for Breakfast drive-thru event—this free event will begin at 6:15 a.m. Wednesday, October 1 at Portneuf Medical Center and will offer breakfast, education and gifts until 10 a.m. or until supplies run out.  Local News 8
