- ➤ Ten-year-old Raylee Twiss set up a lemonade stand in Pocatello to raise funds for her brother's surgery—her effort shows local support. Idaho State Journal
- ➤ On Saturday morning, community members walked at Cotant Park in Chubbuck to raise funds for Alzheimer's research and support—walk manager Shelly Jones said the funds will help local education and caregiver services, with over $31,000 already raised in Pocatello. The annual event included a ceremony hosted by KPVI's Matt Davenport and a promise garden flower planting to honor those touched by the disease. KPVI

- ➤ DarknessCon: Snake River is coming to Pocatello this upcoming Saturday at Mountain View Event Center to celebrate Halloween, horror and paranormal themes. The event will feature a film festival starting at 9 a.m., nearly 60 vendors, a costume contest from 4 to 5 p.m.—and a masquerade ball from 9 p.m. until midnight with tickets beginning at $32.07 for an adult standard pass.
