- ➤ A splash dance for dogs will be held on September 20th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Ross Park Aquatic Complex and is organized by friends of the Pocatello Animal Shelter to raise funds for emergency care and adoption costs for senior dogs—dogs must wear a collar, be up to date on vaccinations, and pay a $10 entry fee. - ➤ Residents in Pocatello, Rexburg and Idaho Falls can use the Light the World Giving Machine to donate to charities this holiday season — machines will be available from November 15 to 30, from December 1 to 14 and from December 15 to January 1. Sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the initiative lets donors choose items to give and has raised nearly $50 million since 2017. Local News 8
