- ➤ Bannock County Veteran Services will host a 24th anniversary commemoration of September 11 on Sept 11, 2025 — a flag raising ceremony at the Bannock County Courthouse will be followed by a reading from Judge Rick Carnaroli and a community dinner at the Veterans Memorial Building. - ➤ Benny's Pantry received a donation of 500lbs of ground beef from Direct Communications—purchased from Power County 4-H at the local fair—to help feed Idaho State students, faculty and staff as grocery prices rise. Manager Rachel Nielsen said the beef, in two-pound packages, will supply fresh protein to meet high demand. KPVI

- ➤ Ashley Williams from Pocatello launches her beginner-friendly FeltHappy kits at the Eastern Idaho State Fair in Blackfoot—kits include pre-cut felt pieces, stuffing, sewing needles and picture instructions. - ➤ On April 5, 2025, the Attorney General’s office completed its review of the officer-involved shooting in Pocatello that resulted in Victor Perez’s death—Bannock County Prosecutor’s Office requested the review after the Eastern Idaho Critical Incident Task Force conducted the investigation and provided the report. - ➤ A judge in Bingham County accepted a settlement agreement between the Idaho Department of Water Resources and a farming couple who irrigated their fields despite state curtailment orders—though they still face $21K in civil penalties. Idaho State Journal
