- ➤ Eleven-year-old cancer survivor Kadee Lot, who beat cancer as a preschooler six years ago, runs a lemonade stand and will donate its profits to help other sick kids in Pocatello—her act gives new hope to struggling families. Idaho State Journal

- ➤ Heise Hot Springs outside Ririe had its busiest summer season ever as renovations to the summer pool, hot pool, and dressing rooms drew 600—800 visitors daily, General Manager Sam Wilson said. The resort remains open year-round with a pizza parlor serving guests in winter. Local News 8

- ➤ Idaho Fish and Game will release over 14,000 catchable rainbow trout from different local sites during September — including Bannock Reservoir near the County Fairgrounds in Pocatello, Bear River below Oneida Dam, Crowthers Reservoir, Devil Creek Reservoir, Crystal Springs Pond, Edson Fichter Pond and Montpelier Reservoir — with some releases subject to weather or staffing changes.
