- ➤ Municipal election candidate filing begins today and runs until 5 p.m. Aug 29 for several cities, with voters set to cast ballots on Nov. 4. In Pocatello, candidates for mayor and council seats 4, 5, and 6 must register today to appear on the ballot — ensuring local representation in the upcoming elections. East Idaho News
- ➤ Governor Little signed Executive Order 2025-05 on Friday to have state agencies combine services and cut travel costs to reduce spending by 3%—critics say the state budget grew 60% in six years.
