- ➤ Todd Vernon Brewer, 48, who shot two Pocatello police officers in May 2022, was sentenced on August 16 to 40 years in prison for aggravated battery on personnel and aggravated assault—his sentence includes fixed and indeterminate terms running consecutively. East Idaho News
