- ➤ KPVI reported that local businesses were featured at the Bannock County July 4th celebration that brought festive activities to the area— a sign of strong local participation. KPVI
- ➤ Pocatello local group Gate City Singles, founded by Becky Koyle, offers weekly events for adults and families and has grown to over 600 members in four months. A five-day singles retreat will take place in Lava Hot Springs July 10–14—additional family campouts are planned for later. East Idaho News

- ➤ Suicide prevention advocate Melissa Schrade lost her daughter three years ago and is hosting a Shakespeare-inspired fundraiser called A Midsummer Night’s Revue to honor her memory and raise funds for Community Suicide Prevention.
