ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Fire crews are battling a wildfire that started just after 1:00 p.m. today at the top of West Center Street near Pocatello — with 10 to 15 mph winds pushing the blaze toward homes, emergency officials have placed nearby residents on evacuation standby and staged extra engines in the area. KPVI
- ➤ Pocatello firefighters + aided by the Chubbuck Fire Department and BLM wildland crews are battling a wildfire off West Clark Street on the west bench as the blaze, estimated at 50 acres, has not prompted evacuations while officials ask residents to avoid the area for safe access. Local News 8
- ➤ On June 19th, officials told some City Creek residents to evacuate due to a wildfire burning off West Clark Street near the City Creek Trailhead (covering 800-1000 acres and zero percent contained) while later updates indicated no homes were threatened and the public should avoid the area to support fire crews.
