- ➤ Pocatello police arrested roofing contractor Glendon Ashley Smith on June 6 outside Juniper Hills Country Club after several homeowners said his company did not complete work for over $60,000—he now faces seven felony counts of grand theft that could result in decades in prison if convicted. - ➤ The multicultural festival returns to Pocatello for its second year and will be held Friday, June 20 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lookout Point in honor of World Refugee Day — featuring traditional dishes from 25 countries, games, flags, dances and costumes. - ➤ AAA Idaho reported on June 16 that Idaho’s regular gas was priced at $3.29, unchanged from last week and last month yet 29 cents lower than a year ago—despite ongoing tensions in the Middle East between Israel and Iran that have not affected supply.
