ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • An adult female driver suffered a medical emergency and crashed into several parked vehicles near Pocatello City Hall earlier this week + she was rushed to the hospital.  Idaho State Journal

BUSINESS NEWS

  • Business Women of Pocatello will host a fundraiser called Pints and Possibilities on Tuesday, June 17 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Martlet Brewery and Public House (218 North Main Street) in downtown Pocatello; the event will feature live music (Dustin Armstrong and The Remedy) and raise funds for grants to support local women-owned businesses.  East Idaho News

CULTURE NEWS

  • POCATELLO — The Mystic Realms Fantasy Fair returns later this month for its third year, offering adventure seekers a chance to see shimmering knights and luminescent mermaids in a makeshift medieval village. Organizers say the event will feature interactive fantasy displays to attract visitors of all ages.  Idaho State Journal
  • Local singer and songwriter Paige Anne released her new single 'Love, Love Songs' which is streaming on all platforms—she will travel to Nashville at the end of this month to record six new songs.  KPVI
  • The Pocatello branch of the NAACP will host its fourth annual Juneteenth event at the Pocatello Senior Activity Center on June 21 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.—the event will include live music, games, raffles, an auction, a red velvet cake contest, and the announcement of the 2025 NAACP scholarship winners while traditional soul food and ethnic dishes are served from noon, with tickets costing $25 available at the farmer’s market booth and local businesses.  KPVI

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • ICL + Environment America announced Tuesday they reached an agreement with P4 Production LLC to fund improvements for wildlife corridors in southeast Idaho. The deal will guide future steps to connect habitats and boost environmental protection in the area.  Post Register
