CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A local man, Noah Parker Rupe, 21, faces five new felony charges—including four for child porn possession and one for child sexual exploitation—after a jury found him guilty of possessing child porn in a previous trial; he is set to appear on June 11 at 1:30 p.m. before Magistrate Judge Aaron Thompson. East Idaho News

- ➤ On June 5, the Pocatello City Council unanimously confirmed Dakota Bates to fill the vacant Seat #4, and his term takes effect immediately until December. Mayor Brian Blad said Bates will serve the community with integrity — moving the city forward. Pocatello-Chubbuck Observer
