  • The Bannock Humane Society held its 'Tails & Treasures' Yard Sale Fundraiser on Saturday where community members bought donated pet items & snacks to support spay and neuter services. The sale continues today from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 850 Barton Rd.  KPVI

CRIME NEWS

  • A local man, Noah Parker Rupe, 21, faces five new felony charges—including four for child porn possession and one for child sexual exploitation—after a jury found him guilty of possessing child porn in a previous trial; he is set to appear on June 11 at 1:30 p.m. before Magistrate Judge Aaron Thompson.  East Idaho News

  • On June 5, the Pocatello City Council unanimously confirmed Dakota Bates to fill the vacant Seat #4, and his term takes effect immediately until December. Mayor Brian Blad said Bates will serve the community with integrity — moving the city forward.  Pocatello-Chubbuck Observer
