- ➤ Dakota Bates was sworn in as a city council member tonight after being chosen by Mayor Brian Blad+ from 17 other applicants to fill the vote left open when Councilman Josh Mansfield resigned in May. Bates will serve the unexpired term until December. Local News 8
- ➤ Today the Idaho Transportation Department warned that text messages claiming to speed up REAL IDs are scams and that REAL IDs can only be obtained at DMV offices — the department said scammers are trying to steal personal information — and told residents not to click any links. Local News 8
