- ➤ Today, Bannock Civitan kicks off its annual 'Revive at 5' event at Lookout Point in Pocatello — featuring live music from Best by Yesterday and food vendors including Angels Tacos, Home-fire Comfort Foods and Sticks and Scones — and the event will run every Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. throughout the summer. - ➤ Pocatello Mayor Brian Blad recommended Dakota Bates for City Council Seat #4 at the meeting today at 6 p.m. The nomination follows the review of 17 applications and six interviews and, if confirmed, Bates will serve through December. Pocatello-Chubbuck Observer
- ➤ Governor Brad Little appointed Brendon Taylor as District Judge for the Seventh Judicial District; Taylor, who served as a Magistrate Judge in Bonneville County since 2022 and led the Domestic Violence Treatment Court program, will fill the vacancy left by retired Judge Bruce L.
