- ➤ A rollover crash on Interstate 15 killed a 26-year-old driver from Rexburg and injured her 26-year-old male passenger when her 2010 Toyota Corolla left the left shoulder and hit the median Wednesday at 3:45 p.m. near milepost 62 between Inkom and Pocatello and officials blocked the road for about two and a half hours as they investigated the incident. - ➤ A crash on Interstate 15 south of Pocatello on Wednesday afternoon left one person dead — officials confirmed the fatality. Idaho State Journal
- ➤ Five people were rushed to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash shut down a busy intersection in Pocatello Wednesday afternoon—police said. Idaho State Journal
- ➤ Three people were taken to hospital after a truck went off Interstate 86 at 4:40 p.m. on Wednesday and crashed onto Hiline Road below with one person in serious condition + emergency responders from Idaho State Police, Pocatello and Chubbuck investigating the incident as Hiline Road remained closed before it reopened. - ➤ On May 27, police responded to a 911 call at the Walmart parking lot in Chubbuck and found a 36-year-old man dead in his Jeep Cherokee—drug paraphernalia was discovered and an autopsy was scheduled as part of the investigation. East Idaho News

- ➤ Local community members gathered at Washington Elementary Wednesday afternoon to say goodbye to the school as it closed after 100 years of service—an event that honored its long legacy. Idaho State Journal

- ➤ On Tuesday, about two dozen law enforcement officers from Idaho State Police, Idaho Falls Police, Pocatello Police, and the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office ran a 1.3 mile torch run at the Waterfront that ended at Teton Toyota—raising awareness for the Special Olympics Idaho State Summer Games on June 6-7 in Nampa. Additional runs are scheduled in Rigby at 10 a.m., Shelley at noon, and Fort Hall at 3 p.m. on Wednesday before Twin Falls on Thursday concludes at the Opening Ceremony on June 6 at Nampa High School.
