EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Pocatello/Chubbuck School District 25 accepted Trustee Jim Facer's resignation effective June 8 and has set a process to fill the Zone 3 vacancy. Applications will be due by Tuesday, June 23 with interviews on June 25 and/or June 29 and a swearing-in planned for July 21 (details on the district website). Pocatello-Chubbuck Observer

- ➤ Marsh Valley’s multi-sport athlete Tietsie Fly, District 4 Rodeo Queen, balances basketball, volleyball, golf and rodeo events while overcoming the loss of her beloved horse. - ➤ Marsh Valley student Tietsie Fly, named District 4 Rodeo Queen, juggles four sports including rodeo, basketball, volleyball, and golf (she competes in seven rodeo events) and revived her passion with a new horse after losing longtime partner Kicking Bird in January while promoting awareness of Von Willebrand disease.
