- ➤ Pocatello will host its annual Independence Day parade on July 4 at 9:30 a.m. as the Budweiser Clydesdales, along with three semi-trucks carrying equipment, wagons, horses, and a dalmatian—set to lead the event with Idaho Central Credit Union—are expected to participate. KPVI

- ➤ Local classic car restoration business Badass Glass lost its body shop in a fire on May 13 when owner Jordan Miller’s son spotted the blaze near the shop — firefighters put out the fire but could not save tools and vehicles like a 1966 Chevy pickup and two Volkswagen Beetles. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ On May 30, the American Red Cross will open a new six bed blood donation center — replacing its former location — at 4233 Yellowstone Ave. in the Pine Ridge Shopping Center to serve local donors. The current site will continue collecting blood until May 27 and the new center will operate Mondays from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Local News 8

- ➤ Bannock County Assessor Anita Hymas announced that assessed values for commercial and residential properties will rise in 2025—reflecting new market data and ensuring compliance with state standards, though tax bills will be set later based on budget decisions.
