- ➤ The new Lava Farmers Market launches this Saturday, May 23 in Lava Hot Springs. It runs every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. from May to October and features local growers, artisans, food trucks & live music during market hours. KPVI
- ➤ Inkom’s first public library opened Monday at 321 Holstein Street after more than 20 years of planning, offering 3,000+ books, audiobooks, DVDs and community programs so residents no longer need to travel to another town. East Idaho News
- ➤ Zoo Idaho introduced a cougar kitten (five months old) and asked local visitors for name suggestions. The zoo invites families to see the new resident today at the exhibit. Post Register
- ➤ The Idaho Field of Heroes Memorial returns to Pocatello at Century High School soccer fields from Friday through Memorial Day (honoring U.S. service members). Volunteers can help with setup until Thursday and clean up on May 26, with the dedication ceremony Friday at 10 a.m. KPVI

- ➤ Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening will perform at the Portneuf Health Trust Amphitheatre on Aug. 13 as part of its 2026 North America tour, honoring Led Zeppelin’s legacy. Local fans can secure presale tickets today by signing up on the venue’s email list and tickets for the general public begin sale on May 21 at 10 a.m. East Idaho News
- ➤ Ole 60 will perform on August 13 at Mountain America Center in Idaho Falls. The band, known for hits like "thoughts of you," "let you down" and "insane," will have tickets on sale Thursday at 10 a.m. via Ticket Master. KPVI
- ➤ The Idaho International Choral Festival is seeking 100 host families to provide accommodations and cultural exchange for international students arriving this July in Pocatello. Only 20 families have signed up so far (hosts will receive free concert tickets), highlighting a vital community need. Local News 8

- ➤ The City of Pocatello invites residents to review drafts of its new Housing Plan and updated Urban Forest Plan online for feedback through May 31. - ➤ Local baby Auzzy Price, born with a severe heart defect, underwent her first open-heart surgery on March 6 and was discharged from the hospital; her Pocatello family is preparing for a Glenn procedure early July. East Idaho News
