- ➤ On Wednesday, a fire around 7 p.m. outside Mickelsen Construction at 1908 Tank Farm Road in Pocatello caused two semi-trucks to be declared a total loss and led to an estimated 250-gallon fuel spill that the Shoshone Bannock Tribes Environmental Waste Department cleaned up—investigators are now examining the blaze. - ➤ The annual Idaho Field of Heroes Memorial will return to Bannock County when it begins Friday May 23rd at Century High School's soccer fields and runs through Memorial Day—volunteers will help set up from May 19th through 22nd and clean up on May 27th as over 7,000 markers will honor service members who died in Iraq and Afghanistan and an extra 97 markers will represent Idaho-connected heroes since Sept. 11th.
