- ➤ Idaho Fish and Game is stocking over 13,000 catchable rainbow trout in several southeast Idaho fisheries during May. Local anglers can fish at Bannock Reservoir at Portneuf Wellness Complex Park, downtown Edson Fichter Pond, and other sites while dates may adjust due to weather or staffing. - ➤ Bannock County DMV warns residents against scam text messages that falsely claim legal issues such as license suspension + misuse of personal info. The alert, starting April 29, advises that ITD never contacts citizens via text about pending infractions. Pocatello-Chubbuck Observer
- ➤ The Idaho Transportation Department will begin construction of the new Riverton Road Bridge on Monday in Blackfoot, causing I-15 to close for three nights to support safe repairs after a semi crashed into the old bridge in October. Idaho State Journal
