- ➤ A new Airbus H130 helicopter debuts today at Portneuf Medical Center as part of a partnership between Global Medical Response and the hospital. Community members can tour the aircraft at 11 a.m. at the helipad (777 Hospital Way) while the winning name is announced. East Idaho News
- ➤ Valley Mission joins the Idaho Gives campaign to raise funds for a food pantry and shelter program; $68,800 has been raised so far along with a $20,000 match. The nonprofit hosts a construction open house today (11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.) at 442 N. Arthur Ave in Pocatello. KPVI
- ➤ EastIdahoNews.com has switched its commenting system from OpenWeb to Arena.im to improve online conversation. The new platform relies on AI moderation and community volunteers under moderator Peggy Jeppesen to screen for hate speech + foster a healthier forum. East Idaho News
