- ➤ Local author and historian Randy'L Teton—known as the model for the U.S. Sacajawea Golden Dollar coin—will speak at Idaho State University spring commencement ceremonies on Saturday. Idaho State Journal
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ On Monday, May 4, Idaho Fish and Game will close Ardith's Garden at Edson Fichter Nature Area for new pathway construction donated by Iron Horse Asphalt — visitors may still use the main pathway for access. Please respect the closure while work is in progress. Pocatello-Chubbuck Observer
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Pocatello Police Department added a new K9 on April 30 by partnering with Dustin Time Animal Rescue; the Belgian Malinois Boo was rescued from an euthanasia risk and passed evaluations for police work & showed the strong drive needed for her role.
