- ➤ Idaho Gives kicked off Monday, April 28 and will run through Thursday, May 1—so far, donors have given $781,744 to 510 nonprofits statewide, and organizers plan to reach 15,000 donors and raise $4.65 million in total. This campaign shows Idahoans coming together to support local nonprofit work. KPVI

- ➤ Bannock County Coroner Torey Danner identified Darrin Ralph Moore, 48, of Inkom as the man who died in a multi-car crash near Fort Hall that closed Interstate 15—Idaho State Police investigated the crash and notified next of kin after the incident occurred Thursday at 1:55 p.m. East Idaho News
- ➤ The Bannock County Coroner's Office identified 48-year-old Darrin Ralph Moore from Inkom as the driver killed in a crash on April 24th at around 1:55 p.m., when his unbelted 2000 Subaru Legacy struck a 2019 Audi A6 on southbound I-15 at milepost 74.5 near Pocatello—Audi occupants were wearing seatbelts and were transported to a nearby hospital. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ On Monday morning, almost 30 special education students and several assistants played in the Fans in the Stands spring ball game at the Pit at Pocatello High School as the student body cheered every play and DJ Adrian Smart kept the energy high. The final score did not matter since the focus was on participation and support—showing strong school spirit. KPVI

- ➤ On April 28, the City of Pocatello published its Road Construction — Traffic Report for the week, detailing planned road closures and detours. Residents are advised to review the report to stay informed about traffic changes. Pocatello-Chubbuck Observer
- ➤ The Idaho Transportation Department is hosting open houses on April 30 at the Blackfoot Community Center from 4–6:30 p.m. and on May 1 at the Shoshone-Bannock Convention Center from 4–6:30 p.m. to collect public input on plans to widen I-15 between Pocatello and Idaho Falls—spanning 51 miles in three phases and potentially beginning in 2030 pending TECM funding. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Pocatello Animal Shelter reopened today after disinfecting the facility following a parvovirus scare that led to four puppies being euthanized. Shelter officials said ten puppies tested negative + volunteer activities will remain suspended until further notice. Local News 8
