- ➤ Local rider Ken May’s new club, Rolling Rogue RC, is hosting its first Motorcycle Awareness Fun Run and Fundraiser Ride this Saturday, April 26, to raise motorcycle safety awareness and help families affected by crashes. Riders will check in at ImPressed Coffee Co at 10 a.m. and ride from Chubbuck to Blue Heeler Bar & Grill in Pocatello—registration costs $20 per bike and over 100 riders from Idaho, Utah and Colorado are expected. - ➤ This spring, Idaho State University's College of Business received a $3 million donation from an anonymous donor — timed with Dean Shane Hunt's departure — to support its MBA program. Idaho State Journal

- ➤ The Pocatello City Council is seeking public input on its plan for parks, recreation, open spaces (and trails) at a regular meeting on May 1st at 6:00 p.m. Residents may offer up to three minutes of comments or send written testimony up to two pages before the meeting. KPVI
- ➤ Local organizers will hold an 'Empty Chair' town hall meeting on Friday in Pocatello to engage residents with their elected officials — U.S. Sens. Mike Crapo and Jim Risch along with U.S. Rep. Mike will attend. Idaho State Journal
- ➤ Pocatello will host its annual hiring fair at the Public Services Annex at 2405 Garrett Way on Friday, April 25 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.—City employees will be available on-site to help job seekers learn about available positions and complete online applications. Pocatello-Chubbuck Observer
- ➤ Governor Brad Little signed a new executive order on April 22 that directs the Idaho Department of Lands to work with the U.S. Forest Service to reduce wildfire risks in national forests. The order builds on earlier federal actions and will allow more treatments like timber harvests+mechanical thinning and prescribed burns to help make forests healthier. Pocatello-Chubbuck Observer
