- ➤ Bannock Bark Park closed Tuesday for tree removal and will remain closed through Friday so a contractor can safely remove dead trees as part of the city's grant-funded urban forestry improvements; nearly 200 new trees will be planted downtown this summer. Local News 8

- ➤ Idaho National Laboratory, Idaho State University, eCyclers of Idaho and Sunnking Sustainable Solutions are partnering to host a free e-waste collection event on Apr. 25 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Pond Student Union on campus — this event will securely recycle electronics and conserve valuable materials.
