- ➤ Curbside Cravings kicked off Monday, Apr. 20 at Lookout Point with food trucks like Home Fire Comfort Food, Camille's Crepes, and Paikama. The event runs every Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. until Sept. 21. KPVI

- ➤ The Idaho State-Civic Symphony will perform its season finale Friday as part of the Creative Courage season — a local showcase of musical talent. The event will take place in Pocatello. Idaho State Journal
- ➤ Pocatello librarian Gracie Marsden (a lifelong fan of fantasy novels like Eragon) will see her debut novel published by Penguin Random House this November. She looks forward to sharing her literary passion with the community. Idaho State Journal

- ➤ Gas prices in Idaho barely changed on Monday, with an average of $4.31 per gallon while local stations in Pocatello posted $4.33 (the current rate); AAA warns that rising Middle East tensions and supply chain issues in the Strait of Hormuz could soon affect prices. East Idaho News

- ➤ Pocatello/Chubbuck School District announced on Monday, Apr. 20 that seven students—Nicole Huang, Mia Chavez, Bridger Baker, Harper Merrill, Anesa Bills, Porter Corrington and Brooklyn Cleaves—have earned the 8th annual Terry Perkins Scholarship, a $3,000 award renewable to $6,000 for tuition at accredited two-year, four-year or vocational institutions. - ➤ The City of Pocatello is improving its urban forest by removing and replacing unhealthy trees in Historic Downtown and public parks. Funded by nearly $1.8 million, crews will complete the work by May 2026+ ensure safer sidewalks and greener spaces. Local News 8
- ➤ The Portneuf Valley Environmental Fair was held Saturday at Lookout Point in Pocatello, drawing over 4,000 attendees with free admission, free food & live music and about 80 vendors offering hands-on activities and giveaways. KPVI

- ➤ Gov. Brad Little said drought conditions are setting up one of Idaho's most dangerous fire seasons in years. He mentioned his concerns Monday in Idaho Falls as the state prepares for tougher wildfire risks. Post Register
- ➤ Downtown improvements in Pocatello have progressed by smoothing hazardous sidewalk panels along North Main Street, North Arthur Avenue and cross streets.
