- ➤ On Thursday, the long-standing Riverside Golf Course clubhouse in Pocatello was demolished after serving golfers since 1955 (when it also worked as a barn during farmland days). Construction on the new Connections Credit Union Clubhouse will continue this summer and finish by the 2027 golf season. KPVI
- ➤ After 20 years serving the community with events and animal rescue, Nikki and Frank Jorgenson will leave in June for health and cost reasons. Final events include the Adult Prom at the Elks Lodge today and Southeast Idaho Days on May 1-2, with plans to continue rescue work in Florida. East Idaho News
- ➤ A new farmers and artisan market will launch in Lava Hot Springs later in May featuring local vendors & food trucks and live music, offering residents a fresh community tradition. Idaho State Journal
