CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Chubbuck police are asking the public for help finding a missing local woman+ they urge anyone with information to contact them immediately. Idaho State Journal
- ➤ Pocatello police responded last Saturday to a 911 call when 17-year-old Victor Perez, who was drunk, allegedly tried to stab family members in a backyard + his family said the incident was misunderstood and his doctors declared him clinically brain-dead, so his life support was turned off today and a candlelight vigil will be held at 9 a.m. while an investigation continues with the involved officers on administrative leave. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Governor Brad Little signed Senate Bill 1208 on April 9th, directing a $23.2 million investment and adding 63 new workers at DHW to support vulnerable children and foster families. The law aims to prevent abuse and neglect by expanding resources for children in foster care and helping to return Idaho children living out-of-state to nearby homes. Pocatello-Chubbuck Observer
