  • Riverside Golf Course is under construction on a two-story, 3,700 sqft clubhouse sponsored by Connections Credit Union that will feature an indoor golf simulator, restaurant, pro shop and large patio. The new facility will open for the 2027 golf season while parking adjustments are in place during construction.  Local News 8

  • Marshall Public Library in Pocatello marks 25 years of its annual Poetry Wall in April (in honor of National Poetry Month) and invites community members to submit poems in person or by email.  Local News 8

EDUCATION NEWS

  • A 100-year-old former St. Anthony High School student finally received her diploma after 83 years, marking a special educational milestone for her and the community. The achievement underscores her dedication to lifelong learning.  Idaho State Journal
  • Idaho State University, College of Southern Idaho and College of Eastern Idaho have been selected as one of 10 recipients of a national grant (from Lumina Foundation) to simplify college admission for local students.  Post Register
