  • A local woman is launching goat yoga classes in Southeast Idaho to help people find inner peace by combining exercise with the fun of interacting with fainting goats—participants will soon enjoy this unique way to relax.  Idaho State Journal

CULTURE NEWS

  • During the concluding session of the April 2025 General Conference, President Russell M. Nelson announced fifteen new temples including one in Idaho that will be built to serve local members.  Idaho State Journal

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Zoo Idaho reopened its doors on Saturday, April 5 with dozens of animals (mostly native species) like elk, coyotes and peacocks brought in for conservation. Zoo Registrar Jessica Anderson said visitors should plan to visit between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. (when many animals are fed) to see them when they are most active.  Local News 8

  • Idaho state lawmakers ended the 2025 legislative session last Friday after spending hours awaiting amendments to a bill that prohibits businesses and schools from requiring certain measures—details on the amendments were not provided.  Post Register
