  • Today local volunteers stage Walk with Christ at 930 East Alameda Road+ the free event invites people of all faiths to experience a one-hour reenactment of Jesus’s life from the Nativity to his resurrection, running every evening until Friday from 6:30 to 9 p.m.  East Idaho News

BUSINESS NEWS

  • Raising Cane's is set to open its new Chubbuck restaurant today at 9 a.m. at 4310 Yellowstone Avenue. Crowds are expected early for giveaways (including a Lucky 20 drawing for free chicken for a year) and officials have issued a traffic advisory for the area.  East Idaho News

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Idaho Fish and Game Upper Snake Region is partnering with the Bureau of Land Management to implement prescribed burns at Market Lake Wildlife Management Area to improve waterfowl habitat.  Post Register

  • Bannock County has announced job openings in Pocatello (posted March 27) for positions including administrative assistant, deputy prosecutor, assistant parks coordinator, shop supervisor, landfill equipment operator, and records specialist.   • Pocatello’s Road Construction and Traffic Report shows that street sweepers and repair crews are working across town while the Water Department replaces the Westello Blvd main from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Thursday for two to three weeks — Wayne Ave. is closed Saturday, Apr. 4 for an Easter Bash at Alameda Park.  Pocatello-Chubbuck Observer
