- ➤ A multi-level house near McCammon along Old Highway 91 was destroyed by a fire on Saturday. Idaho State Journal
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Pocatello police said a local woman with dementia who had been reported missing was found safe. Idaho State Journal
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Raul Labrador introduced K-9 Badger, a two-year-old English Labrador—one of only 195 trained to detect TPPO—who joined the ICAC Unit that investigates online child abuse. Badger is also dual certified as a therapy dog and will assist with victims and educational presentations across Idaho. Pocatello-Chubbuck Observer
- ➤ City of Pocatello will hold a series of meetings next week from March 31 to April 4, including the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council meeting (3:15 p.m.) and Portneuf Valley Soccer Club annual meeting (6:00 p.m.) on Monday. Additional sessions on police union matters, site plan review, child care advisory, historic preservation, parks and recreation, and city council business are scheduled through Thursday, while Friday has no meetings. - ➤ Bannock County Commissioners scheduled meetings for next week show there will be no meetings on March 31st, April 2nd, and April 4th. A regular business meeting and a public hearing for road validation will be held on April 1st at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. while a business meeting is planned on April 3rd at 9:00 a.m. with its agenda updated on March 31st.
