  • The annual Easter Bash will take place on Saturday, April 4 at Alameda Park, offering a multi-age egg hunt, family activities, a photo booth, and an Easter bunny appearance. A pancake breakfast for 5 dollars will also be available, with proceeds benefiting the Boys and Girls Club of Southeast Idaho.  KPVI
  • BNCL Law and Snake River Criminal Defense will host a public vigil on Saturday, April 4 to honor the life of Victor Perez in Pocatello.  Idaho State Journal

  • The Pocatello Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council hosts an Essential Needs Drive Saturday, April 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Police Department Substation at 800 Yellowstone Avenue (near Fred Meyer) collecting non-perishable food and hygiene donations for two Little Free Pantries at City Hall and the Recreation Center.  Pocatello-Chubbuck Observer

  • Raising Cane's will open its newest Chubbuck location on March 31 at 4310 Yellowstone Ave; visitors can win 20 free-year giveaways (entries accepted from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.) and join a ribbon-cutting ceremony with local officials before doors open at 9 a.m.  East Idaho News

CULTURE NEWS

  • Grace Lutheran Church in Pocatello will hold a live staging of 'A Living Last Supper' on Palm Sunday at 7 p.m. at 1350 Baldy Avenue; the hour-long production—featuring congregation members—brings Leonardo da Vinci’s renowned painting to life for Holy Week and is free to attend.  East Idaho News
  • The Port unveiled its early 2026 concert season with shows by The Australian Pink Floyd Show on Thursday, July 30, Lee Brice on Friday, Aug. 21 and The Beach Boys on Wednesday, Aug. 26 at its amphitheatre. Pre-sale tickets are available today from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.  East Idaho News
  • The Portneuf Health Trust Amphitheater announced its 2026 summer concert lineup with Australian Pink Floyd Show performing on July 30, Lee Brice on August 21, and The Beach Boys on August 26 (tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.). More concerts will be announced later.  KPVI

  • Local gas stations are raising prices by about $1 per gallon today as global supply pressures (including international tensions) impact fuel costs. Shoppers are encouraged to check prices before refueling.  Idaho State Journal
