- ➤ Idaho Power is reminding agricultural workers to stay at least 10 feet from power lines as spring field work begins. The company advises calling 811 before digging and using spotters when moving equipment (to ensure safety). Pocatello-Chubbuck Observer
- ➤ Local cowboys have launched CowboyUp for Veterans (a new 501(c)(3) nonprofit) to help veterans with minor home repairs. The group will hold a bull-riding event at the end of May and is seeking donations today. East Idaho News
- ➤ Longtime Pocatello resident Lorraine Harrison, who grew up in Smithfield (a nearby town), will turn 100 this week. She had never expected to reach such a milestone, marking a bright chapter for the community. Idaho State Journal

- ➤ Bannock County launched a contest using a March Madness format to name its new drone, though submissions closed Sunday, Mar. 22, and a digital bracket (bracket-style review) will begin Tuesday, Mar. 24. The final championship is scheduled for April 6, with the winner announced on April 7. East Idaho News
