- ➤ Coco and Copper visited KPVI for Tail-wagger Wednesday yesterday and are essentially brothers seeking a forever home. Pocatello Animal Services is scheduling meet-ups so interested pet lovers can call 208 234 6156. KPVI
- ➤ Bannock Youth Foundation is launching Parents as Teachers, an evidence-based home visiting program to boost early learning and child health. A ribbon cutting and art night with the Leavitt Center will be held on Monday, April 13 at 5:15 p.m. at the Family Resource Center (403 N. Hayes Ave). KPVI

- ➤ Ken Southwick, a retired seminary teacher in Pocatello, started BranchesBeGone, a mobile wood-chipping business that grinds fallen branches into chips in 2021. He now works part time to serve local customers and sometimes travels to Rigby if the job is worthwhile (his truck gets 4 mpg). East Idaho News
- ➤ Crispy Cones, the dessert brand backed by Shark Tank, will open tomorrow at noon (March 20) at 4100 Yellowstone Ave. Suite B in a plaza near Harbor Freight. Local franchise owners plan to serve fresh pastry cone desserts until midnight and have hired 20 local employees for the event. East Idaho News
