- ➤ On March 6, the Idaho Department of Labor announced an $8 million Industry-Driven Skills Training Fund grant to support skills training in advanced manufacturing, mineral production, and nuclear energy; employers may receive up to 80% reimbursement for approved training costs (up to $25,000 per employee) to help meet workforce needs. - ➤ Snake River Doodles Traveling Animals hosted their Wild Animal Adventure event today at Jungle Retreat where attendees could see, touch, and learn about more than 14 exotic reptile species — including snakes, turtles, and lizards with hands-on demonstrations and ice cream for families. - ➤ Idaho Fish and Game will stock about 110,000 catchable rainbow trout across southeast waters this March, including at Edson Fichter Pond in southwest Pocatello. Local anglers are advised to follow access and inspection rules at each site. Pocatello-Chubbuck Observer
