- ➤ The City of Pocatello invites community members to submit historic photos that capture life in a contest running Feb. 2 to May 31. Entries must be original and can be scanned at City Hall (911 North 7th Ave), with top photos chosen by Facebook likes to win City swag. East Idaho News
- ➤ Portneuf Valley Adaptive Sports helps people with disabilities enjoy outdoor recreation at Pebble Creek Ski Area with special equipment (a walker with skis) for support. Launched last summer after Idaho State refocused its adaptive program, the nonprofit now serves nine students with 26 volunteers and runs year-round activities. KPVI

- ➤ Idaho State University is restructuring four colleges to address an $8 million deficit, axing its College of Education + splitting its biology department which will result in 45 layoffs. Post Register

- ➤ The City Council approved a $360,750 contract with Precision Concrete to assess and repair uneven downtown sidewalks as part of a multi-phase plan to improve access for all, plus crews will review key areas near schools, transit stops, and senior centers. East Idaho News
