- ➤ A Ukrainian delegation led by Mayor Andrii Seletskiy will visit Pocatello on Feb. 13 for a gala fundraiser that includes dinner, live auction & performances and aims to raise funds for rebuilding a rehabilitation center for Ukrainian amputees. KPVI

- ➤ Rumors persist that Chick-fil-A may open a standalone restaurant on Quinn Road and Hurley Drive near Titan Center. A city spokesperson (Marlise Irby-Facer) said no permits or applications have been filed and the chain has not confirmed any plans. East Idaho News
- ➤ SME Steel will open its new facility at Pocatello Regional Airport — a move expected to create dozens of jobs in the commercial, industrial and infrastructure sectors. Idaho State Journal
- ➤ The new family fun center Extreme Rush is nearing the end of construction and is expected to open in March or April in Pocatello. It promises a fresh venue for local families to enjoy. Idaho State Journal

- ➤ Idaho’s official America250 Ambassador Song, Forever Idaho (Esto Perpetua), was released Feb. 6 on major streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music. Local artists wrote and recorded the song to celebrate America250. Pocatello-Chubbuck Observer

- ➤ The Idaho Department of Education opens nominations for the 2027 CapEd Credit Union Idaho Teacher of the Year, offering a $10,000 cash award and a role as Idaho’s nominee for National Teacher of the Year.
