- ➤ Fort Hall artist Claire Rae Edmo — a recent University of Idaho graduate — is named the new sƛ̓x̣etkʷ Artist-in-Residence at Spokane Falls Community College in Spokane, Wash. Idaho State Journal
- ➤ Rebuilt after a fire in 2021, the Beech Hollow Event Center reopened last year in Lava Hot Springs and is set to host Fire & Ice WinterFest soon, offering a fresh venue for community gatherings. Idaho State Journal

- ➤ Children with limited access to dental care will receive free dental exams at Southeast Idaho Public Health's Give Kids a Smile event on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Pocatello; kids from preschool through eighth grade will also get teeth cleanings+sealants and referrals if needed.
